Casinomeister's "The Reservation"

Accredited Online Casinos at Casinomeister There are many gray areas in the online casino industry - a casino may not be able to meet the standards of an Accredited Casino, but they aren't in anyway a Rogue Casino either. Some casinos are no longer Accredited - but in no case rogue; and there are casinos that were once rogue but are rogue no more.

The casinos listed here are casinos I have reservations about; some players may find them fine 'n dandy, others may have bad experiences. This section allows me to state what my reservations are.

No Longer Accredited

The following casinos either lost their Accreditation at Casinomeister or failed their Baptism By Fire. The reasons are stated here within.

CasinoReasons
BetFred was listed in the Accredited section from September 2007 until April 2015. They are a fairly good casino with only a sporadic amount of complaints. They have had their share of headaches with some bad managerial calls, but all in all a good casino. They had a rating of 8.7 points when they were removed. They were removed from the site because they showed no interest on monitoring our forum and engaging with its membership: a requirement for Accredited Casinos.
BetVictor Previously known as "Victor Chandler Casino", they were listed in our Accredited Section from 2004 until some years later when their casino rep fell off the face of the earth and no one took his place. Subsequently they were removed and they have not shown an interest to have any presence here. Their loss - not mine. They get relatively good reviews in our forum. If they wanted to come back on board, I don't see any issues that would keep them from doing so.
Bwin Bwin was listed in the accredited section back when they were small time - Triple-A-Casino and Betandwin. But once their heads got too big to fit through the door, they stopped participating in the forum, they started enforcing retroactive terms on their affiliates, and consequently they were dropped from the site. Bummer for them.
Casino ClubThey were once an Accredited Casino, but due to a couple of player issues in 2009 and miscommunications between them, the members, and me, they were removed from the site. Casino Club's affiliate program also initiated changes in their terms and conditions (specifically quotas) which they applied retroactively - that's another reason why they were dropped. They have had a low profile since then, but they have never shown any interest about coming back on board.
Casino Rewards Group The original Casino Rewards Group was never listed in our accredited casino section mainly because they expressed no interest in participating with the site and adhering to our standards. Nonetheless over time, a number of "Accredited" casinos were sold to the Casino Rewards group thus forfeiting their accreditation (marked by an *).

The casino group has an active representative in our forum who has been instrumental in handling a number of casino complaints. Recently a number of affiliates have complained that Casino Rewards has been cross promoting their brands without giving credit to the original referred affiliate. If this is true, affiliates should avoid this group.

Powered by Microgaming - many of these casinos have been in operation for over a decade.

They have a rep in the forum here.

JackpotjoyJackpot joy was listed on the site as an accredited casino for about a year. But then their casino rep fell off the face of the earth never to be heard of again. They seldom have complaints, and are geared towards the slot/bingo/scratchcard player. They actually have some pretty good games.

Ladbrokes These guys were in and out of the Accredited section, but had their accredited status revoked for being unresponsive to a number of player complaints. The problem with this casino is that it's a bloated massive organization. They do not value player feedback and made it clear that the Accredited section has no value for them. I would not recommend Ladbrokes to anyone at the moment. They used to be an outstanding Microgaming casino - but this is no longer true. It's all about the money to them.

Littlewoods Tried BBF but failed due to being unresponsive. BBF failed August 2012.

Main Street Group The Main Street Group was listed in our Accredited section for a number of years until the US market bottomed out. These RTG powered casinos and have been under the same owner/operator for over a decade. Anyway, their payments for winnings slowed down which prompted a number of complaints concerning their inability to process cashouts expediently - thus they were removed from the Accredited section.

Nevertheless, their treatment towards players has always been in sync with Casinomeister's philosophy statement (listed here).

They tried to come back via the Baptism by Fire section in the Spring of 2013, but their bonus terms are a bit unfair (IMO) for non-US/non-Canadian players, so I feel it's best to list them in the Reservation section.

US and Canadian players may find them amicable - everybody else should just avoid their bonuses.

Las Vegas USA
Slots Plus Casino
Sun Palace Casino
Vegas Casino Online
MetroplayMetroplay made an attempt to be Baptized By Fire in March 2014, but it didn't work out. They became unresponsive to a customer complaint, thus their removal.

Palace Group Spin Palace, Ruby Fortune Casino, Mummys Gold, and Caberet Club Casino were listed here pretty much since the beginning. Spin Palace was listed here as an Accredited Casino in 2002, and as the rest were launched, each came on board as well. Spin Palace was the recipient of Best New Casino 2002, and Wagershare won Best Affiliate program for 2003, and 2004.

After a decade, things have changed. They have lost interest in dealing with players in our forum, and are relatively unresponsive to webmaster issues. They were removed from the Accredited section and placed in the Reservations - I made the announcement here in the 18 June 2024 newsletter which details why this was done - and questions why a casino group would toss away a 12 year business relationship.

MoneyGaming They used to be listed in the Accredited Section, but their casino reps lost interest or moved on - in other words went AWOL, so they were dropped from the site. It's an ok casino which at its peak had 7.7 Meister Points on our Meister Rating scale.

Mybet Mybet was listed in the Accredited Section for only a couple of months before falling off of the radar screen. The Gaming rep was nowhere to be found when a couple of problems arose, thus they were removed. Mybet hosts a number of really great software platforms (Amaya, Greentube, GTS, HoGaming, NetEnt, NextGen, Novomatic Holdings, SkillOnNet), it's a shame they can't keep it together to ensure a rep monitors our forum.

Slotland Slotland was listed in Casinomeister's Accredited section from November 2000 until January 2005. There was an issue about the rules for their Video Poker than needed reviewing (they acted as slots instead of VP), and the casino was removed from the accred list when they failed to update their games' rules.

Since then, they have gone through some management changes, and have not shown much interest on coming back on the site. Nevertheless, they seem to have many satisfied players. Their sister site Winaday runs the same software - a proprietary Slotland brand that seems a little archaic, but a lot of slot players love it (I guess they have a lot of old-timers there). They are based in Europe but are US facing. They've been in operation since 1998 (same as Casinomeister) and seldom generate complaints.

Sunset Slots was going for the Baptism By Fire but were disqualified when it turned out that their marketing arm had used a stolen database. At the moment their status is in limbo.

StarGames They were accredited for some time in 2010-2011, but their rep disappeared. They tried coming back on board via Baptism by Fire, but their payouts just took too long, and their CS was too slow as well. After enough players complained, their BBF was cancelled - 16 October 2013.

Tropica Casino is a relatively good casino - with many praises from our forum members, but during the Baptism by Fire stage, there was an email exchange that was a game changer. This is located here. Players are advised that they can do as they please (obviously), but for the time being, I cannot endorse this casino.

Vernons They too tried BBF but failed due to being unresponsive. BBF failed August 2012.

Virgin They were once an outstanding and very formidable casino listed as an accredited casino. But with personnel changes and changes in management, they fell off of the radar screen and just stopped getting involved with Casinomeister. It's a shame really since they were pretty good. More on Virgin here.

WildJack CasinoThis casino was once part of the Jackpot Factory group, but then it wasn't. It is still marketed by Brightshare, Jackpot Factory's affiliate program, but its management lies elsewhere. Too many balls were dropped concerning player complaints - so that was it for that. They are a Microgaming download casino with mobile available.

No man's land...

These casinos have either never expressed an interest in joining Casinomeister, or are just out there perhaps pending a Baptism by Fire, or do not qualify for CM accreditation.

CasinoReasons
Bonnier GamingBG has several outstanding casino brands: one of which is Redbet - an award winning Accredited Casino. There are several more which have not undergone the Baptism by Fire, but Bonnier Gaming has shown interest in going forward with this. Vinnarum Casino seems like an excellent casino. This along with Bertil Casino are Swedish facing casinos powered by NetEnt. Then there is Whitebet, Mamamia and HeyPoker as well. We should be seeing more activity from them in the future.

Casino SoleraThis the sister casino to Tropezia Palace Casino which is one of our newly accredited casinos. Casino Solera should be giving it a try shortly.
Back2School Bingo It's a bingo room that is marketed by Fortune Affiliates, but it's not part of the Accredited Fortune Lounge group. Never received a complaint about them - they have a pretty low profile.
Caesars Casino Yep, this is the Caesars in Las Vegas. They showed interest on coming on board, but the casino rep took a hike and never came back. Hopefully they will get their act together and eventually join their competitors in the Accredited section.
EGO Casinos EgamingOnline.com is a casino group that promotes several brands - one of which is the Accredited rebranded Jackpot Party Slotsmagic - a WMS powered casino that is actually pretty good. I play there often. EGO has several other brands which are pending BBF: Redkings, EU Casino, BGRoom, and CauCasino. I would expect these casinos to be hassle free. There are seldom complaints made about these casino brands.

Golden Galaxy Casino Golden Galaxy is a Playtech casino licensed in Curacao. They were briefly tossed in the rogue section for having a predatory withdrawal limit clause in the terms and conditions that was being applied to progressive wins, but this has been removed. There are not many complaints about this casino, but I would proceed with caution.

Slots Vendor Casinos Liberty Slots and Lincoln Casino are the two casinos promoted by Slots Vendor, a US facing affiliate program. Liberty casino was briefly listed in our Not Recommended section for not listing their licensing jurisdiction on their website. But after being personally reassured by their operator that they are properly licensed and are running a fair and "player focused" enterprise, I moved them to the "reservations" section. Powered by Wager Gaming Technology (formally Vegas Technology of English Harbour fame), their software is audited by Certified Fair Gaming.

Lucky Club Casino Lucky Club Casino is a relatively well managed Nuworks powered casino (RTG games on steroids). They have very few complaints in our forum, and I am familiar with their operations, but since they do not disclose much about their business operations within their website, I've passed on putting them up for accreditation.

Monte Carlo Casino These guys have been wanting to submit themselves to the Baptism By Fire process, but have not gotten their ducks in order yet. I'm just waiting for the thumbs up from them to take the next step: BBF.

Miami Club Casino Miami Club Casino is a Deckmedia casino which is licensed in Curaçao. I am unfamiliar with WGS software, which is the only reason why they haven't been placed in the Baptism by Fire section. Perhaps in the near future.

Rival Gaming Rival has been pumping out casinos since 2006, and even though their slots are impressive, the history of its casinos is not. Many have been shabbily run - quite a few have been in and out of the Rogue Pit. One major problem that Rival has had - its centralized support. In the beginning, centralized support (one support center for all casinos) created many player complaints. Nine years later - same problem. The Rival brand has suffered extensively because of this.

That saying, there are a handful of Rival casinos that are operated by some good operators who furnish their own support. One of which are amongst the Accredited Casinos. You can find this list here.

The rest I have reservations for. I do not dispraise the following casinos (unless of course they have been slapped with the rogue stick), but I cannot recommend them either.

Top Game Casinos Topgame has been around for a number of years, and even though some players really like their slots, the majority of Top Game casinos are either poorly funded, dreadfully managed, or both. The forum is rife with complaints, and Top Game on more than one occasion has blundered about trying to fix what was broken. This has been documented here.

Caveat - I'm not throwing all Top Game casinos into the same enigmatic basket, but players should be aware that there may be issues when patronizing these casinos. Obviously, there are some good operators out there - so this is not a knock on them, but I am not comfortable facilitating any traffic to any Top Game casinos.

William Hill William Hill has never been listed in the Accredited section. They almost were when they were a Cryptologic powered casino, but since they went Playtech, things got a little weird over there. Some of it has to do with being associated with the Israeli run Affutd, their affiliate program. Affutd is just CPays revamped and relaunched (cpays.com redirects to affutd.com). Back in the day, CPays was notorious for using black hat SEO and other unorthodox methods of casino marketing. As long as Will Hill is associated with these guys, they can forget being accredited at CM.

Some players enjoy Will Hill, but there are plenty more casinos to choose from. Why eat at McDonald's when you can eat a real steak?

And just to add, the bigger the casino is, the more detached it gets from the player and webmaster community. I get regular spam mails from their affiliate managers, "Hi, I was impressed with your site and I wanted to promote our products on there." blah blah blah. It's from some guy sitting in their marketing office in Israel who is too lazy to do five minutes of homework, e.g. reading the Becoming Accredited section which is linked to every page on this website. I won't do business with inattentive, pushy, ad salesmen.

Rogue no more...

These are casinos that were once listed in the Not Recommended or Rogue section of Casinomeister. These casinos have been vetted via our "probation" process, and whatever it was that compelled us to rogue them has been nullified, amended, or fixed. As always, caveat emptor.

CasinoReasons
Ace Revenue CasinosAce Revenue was guilty by association with the Virtual Casino Group. They had a checkered past when these casinos were owned by the infamous Warren Cloud. But with his passing several years ago, the casinos were renamed and became an associated casino group with the Virtual Casinos. Thus they remained in the Rogue Pit.

But in November 2013, I placed the Virtual Casino Group on probation with the initial intention that if there were no unresolved complaints for six months, that they would be removed from the Rogue Pit and placed into the reservation. Well after nearly a year and a half and only a trickle of player issues - none unresolved - Ace Revenue is being listed here in the Reservation.

Casino770These guys were in and out of the Not Recommended section of the Rogue pit - were in the Probation section twice, but it seems they have finally gotten their act together. Their final attempt at "probation" was successful and now they are here in the reservation section.

This includes all variations of the 770.com domain.

In September 2013, the casino was rebranded as NetBet - which unfortunately confused a number of our members with the iconic iNetBet so accreditation requests were shelved.
The Virtual Casino GroupDuring the first decade of Casinomeister, they were our nemesis - the anti-thesis of an Accredited Casino. Throughout the early years, complaints streamed in - some of them being pretty damn awful. There were moments of surreal marketing campaigns and player experiences that bordered on hilarity they were so bizarre. The Virtual Casino group was the recipient of the Worst Casino Group Award three times, and Cirrus Casino received Worst Casino of the year 2007. They even made an attempt to be removed from the Rogue pit no less than two times - both of which failed.

Even though this casino group has had its issues, I have been in direct contact with their General Manager since 2002. We have shared our differences of opinions at times, but even so - we have worked together to square away players who had legitimate complaints. Most complaints were from bad management practices - which in time began to abate, others were from badly written promos or just sloppy customer service. Even though they were in the Rogue section, we made an exception to assist any players who had problems with this casino group. Both Max and I have met up with the GM several times over the years and have been communicative. Before this casino group was placed on probation, there were only two PABs from the previous year - both resolved.

And to give credit due when it's warranted, the Virtual group has been adamant on taking care of any past issues. In February 2011, we emailed our entire database of CM members requesting anyone who had any outstanding complaints to come forward. Not only did we send this email out, but so did CAP, and the GPWA. There were only a handful of players that came forward with valid complaints. I should also mention that the Virtual Casino group emailed their entire database as well.

So in November 2013, I placed the Virtual Casino Group on probation and opened a thread here. My initial intention was to remove them from the rogue pit if there were no unresolved complaints within a six month period. But after pressure from the player community, I decided that we would put it to a vote after the probation period was up. I changed my mind about the vote - here's why.

It became clear that any vote put up to the membership would be skewered by fraudsters, liars, and other cretins who have personal agendas against either Casinomeister, or the Virtual Group. The forum thread was littered with bullshit - and I disclosed my reasoning to cancel the vote here.

At press time (16 January 2025), it has been seven months since the closing of that thread, and fourteen months since they were put on probation. Within this time, there were seven legitimate complaints that were resolved. So there you have it - they are now in the Reservation - they are no longer Rogue.
