Casino Rewards Review

Massive group of downloadable Microgaming Viper software

By Casinomeister Aug 8, 2024

Verdict

These casino are pretty solid. Casino Rewards has been in business going on 20 years, and they have a number of people who have been there since the early days. They have had their share of up and downs - but most of these were years ago. We sometimes receive complaints - but these are taken care of immediately by their awesome staff. I would recommend these casinos - especially if you are into Video Poker (like I am).

What is unfortunate is that they chose to lose their Accreditation at Casinomeister over their insisting to run “reverse your winnings” promotions - offering bonuses to players who would play their winnings back. That is an unorthodox and unethical way of treating players, and it violated our Accredited Casino standards - they were warned, but they didn’t care. That is a crying shame since a lot of work was put into to have the Rewards Group listed as Accredited Casinos. I thought they were better than that.

Microgaming

First impression

The original Casino Rewards Group is one of the oldest Microgaming casino groups that is privately owned and situated in cyberland. Many of their casinos were once owned by other operators who left the industry, some of whom were accredited at one time or another: Captain Cooks group, Mini Vegas, Casino Play Group, Casino Action Group, Casino Profit Share. These casinos were assimilated into the Casino Rewards group - and since then, things have been going pretty well.

We seldom get any complaints at Casinomeister concerning these casinos. Two reasons: a) excellent management skills of their staff, b) they are licensed by both the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority - which oversee the gaming operations and resolves any player grievance that couldn’t be cleared up by the casino. Sure, there are a number of spam complaints in the fora, but these are from misguided affiliates, or from the fact that a person hadn’t been properly unsubscribed by the casino newsletter software.

Unfortunately, they insisted on running a promotion that gives bonuses to players who reverse their withdrawals (play back their winnings). This violates the marketing standards that we have for our Accredited Casinos thus they are in the Grey Zone.

Since these casinos are exclusively Microgaming casinos, you as a player have the assurance that if there is a problem, there is a chain of command one can go through in order to solve these problems. Here it would be the casino, us, the KGC/MGA, and then the software provider (again us since we have direct contact). It has been years since any complaint has been escalated in this manner. In other words, the software provider has some sway in the matter if and when something goes amiss. But this hasn’t happened in years.

Many of these casinos have been in operation since 1999.

They have an awesome rep in our forum who has been working for the Rewards group for over a decade, and has won a number of affiliate awards and other accolade. She can be contacted here if you need help with something that their excellent customer support can’t handle: Renee_RA.
